Stowe Rec Summer Camp Counselor

Stowe Parks & Recreation is currently seeking energetic, team oriented, and motivated individuals who have experience working with children or in a recreational field. Each employee is ready to lead, supervise, and build lifetime memories with our campers! Applicants are responsible for the overall safety, support, fun, and logistics for a large group of campers throughout an 8-week summer camp. Individuals hired will be a positive role model, have a willingness to take initiative, and possess an encouraging attitude. Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Season is from June 15, 2020- August 21, 2020, with some additional training opportunities beyond those dates.

Parks Seasonal Laborer

Stowe Parks & Recreation is looking for hardworking, committed individuals to work in our Parks Division. This position is to perform a variety of physical labor tasks on all facets of the parks, buildings and grounds, operation of light equipment, lifting heavy loads and frequent outdoor work, some work may be in inclement weather. Candidates must be self-motivated, eager to learn, team oriented and have a great work ethic. High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license required. Lawn care and small equipment maintenance experience preferred.  Salary is based on experience. Season is from May through end of October.
