About Stowe Arena

Welcome to the Stowe Arena! The Stowe Arena opened in December 2013, replacing the Jackson Arena. The Stowe Arena features an ice season from June to March and a turf season between March and May.

Whether you’re a local visiting our rink weekly for hockey practice and games or a visitor who has never been on the ice before, we are dedicated to providing the best recreational experience for every patron. Public Skate provides a great opportunity for the whole family to get out on the ice together. It’s a fun setting for beginners to give skating a try. It’s also a great time for skating students or hockey players to have fun and improve their moves. Our rink also hosts many adult leagues and private groups, click here to learn more. Check out our Arena Schedule to see what’s happening at the rink!

The state of the art Stowe Arena features a NHL size ice arena and indoor turf with 6 locker rooms with showers and restrooms, full food service, Pro Shop with skate rentals and sharpening. It also boasts a heated 500 people bleacher seating area, a glass viewing lobby, a conference/event room.

The Stowe Arena is home to the Stowe High School Raiders boys and girls hockey teams, Stowe Youth Hockey, and many other local and regional teams of all ages.

Each year, several tournaments are held at Stowe Arena including the Hyde Cup, Stowe Winter Carnival, Girls’ Labor Day Tournament, and Stowe Youth Hockey Tournament. Men, women, youth leagues and club teams keep the facility buzzing all season long.

Come springtime we melt the ice and lay indoor turf. Between March and May, you will find soccer, lacrosse, and baseball groups utilizing the Stowe Arena. During turf season we also set aside public turf time so you can practice your summer sports skills! Check the Arena Schedule for more details.

We also offer private rentals for leagues or tournaments, events and birthday parties. Consider renting our community room for your next birthday party, meeting, or gathering. Call today to reserve your time!
