After school Assistant Instructor

The Afterschool Assistant would be responsible for providing assistance to the Recreation Supervisor in means of activity planning, facilitation and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, computer proficiency and have an understanding of recreational needs and learning progressions of children K-5th grade.

We offer competitive wages starting at $10.00-$12.00 hour depending on qualifications. The After school Instructor works Monday-Friday after regular school hours and during additional youth programs and special events.

Youth Basketball Coaches

Looking for a way to help your local community? Do you enjoy teaching new skills to kids? We are currently looking for volunteer coaches for our youth basketball program! The program runs from November-February for grades K-6th. We are looking for coaches for all age groups, boys and girls. Become a volunteer and help make a difference in a child’s life!

Event Staff

Seeking charismatic and enthusiastic applicants to participate in the implementation of special activities, functions and weekly/month and or annual events run by the Parks & Recreation Department. The job entails all of the duties associated with providing a positive recreational experience for each participant from a diverse population of the greater community. The position is part-time, irregular, and hours vary based on the programs and activities. Pay is $10/hr. Qualified applicants should have experience working under the direction of others and enjoy being in the company of all types of populations. E. O. E.

This position may also offer opportunities to assist with other programs as requested by the Program Director. This would be a wonderful position for all community members looking for a little extra pocket money.
