Musical Munchkins with Miss Andrea

Caregivers and their children ages 10 months-4 years old are invited to join us at the David Gale Recreation Center on Thursdays through November 10th for Miss Andrea’s Musical Munchkins classes! Learn more about Musical Munchkins here: https://www.musicalmunchkins.net/

Baby & Toddler Swing (children ages 10 months-2 years)- 9:30am- 10:15am
This class is designed just for your crawling baby/ now walking toddler and movement is a key ingredient, with songs, fingerplays, bouncing rhymes, dances, with puppets and props, live music, and our wide variety of percussion instruments- gathering drums, woods, shakers, glockenspiels and more, you will create a very special bond with your little munchkin. A parent/guardian is required to supervise their child during this time, you only need to register the child. Make up classes can be scheduled with Miss Andrea if your family can’t make it to all of the classes in this session.

Kids Jamboree (children ages 2-4 years old)- 10:30am-11:15am
This is a wonderful age for making music as children are eager to participate in more independent activities while learning to observe and follow the example of the teacher. Children will sing, dance, and play with my wide variety of percussion instruments to live music with my guitar and ukulele, as well as quality recorded music selections. Circle dances, creative movement, puppets, felt board activities and songbooks provide creative dimensions to their music-making experiences. A parent/guardian is required to supervise their child during this time, you only need to register the child. Make up classes can be scheduled with Miss Andrea if your family can’t make it to all of the classes in this session.
