4th of July Celebration

Nothing lights up Stowe like the 4th of July fireworks at Mayo Farm. If you’re looking for old fashioned Independence Day fun for the family, this is the place to be!

The day begins with a “very local” parade through Moscow followed by a traditional village festival including street performers, musicians, face painting, bounce houses, dunking booths and more! Sports enthusiasts gather from all corners of the community to participate in the annual July 4th Soccerfest, Co-ed One Pitch Softball Tournament and the World’s Shortest Marathon (a 1.7 mile fun run).

In the evening, the entire family can retreat to the Mayo Events Field at 6:00pm for food, fun and fireworks! Organized and staffed by Stowe Parks & Recreation, there’s entertainment for all ages including live music, carnival games, hay rides, touch-a-truck, and field games! Local food vendors give the event a home-town feel and with a blanket or lawn chair, you’ve got the best fireworks view in town!

This is a free family event hosted by Stowe Parks & Recreation, Stowe Village Vibrancy and many dedicated volunteers!
