Parks & Recreation Director
Matt grew up in Hartford, Vermont where he spent 9 years with the Hartford Parks and Recreation Department. Matt's background and experience includes Muncipal Parks and Recreation, ice arena scheduling, sales, marketing, and promotion, coaching soccer and skiing, landscaping, property maintenance, and dairy farming. Matt spends his free time with his wife Sarah and their three boys, Hayden, Harrison, and Holden and enjoys fishing, hunting, and most other outdoor activities.
Born and raised in Stowe, Tori has been a part of the Parks & Recreation department since 1995. For over 15 years, her intimate knowledge of Stowe has helped her scheme up fun events and family programs for the community. With a summer camp of 100+ children and a growing after-school program, Tori's creative spirit and friendly attitude has helped Stowe Recreation develop some of the best recreation programs in the area. She also spent time serving Stowe High School as the athletic director and has coached a variety of local teams including Raiders basketball, softball and skiing. When Tori's not wrangling up the kids in the Rec Center she's on the move with her own two, Kailey and Cecil Jr.
Bruce was born and raised in Stowe and has been serving the Town in various capacities for over 30 years. In 2009 he was honored with the Cliff Thompson Public Service Award for countless hours dedicated to local little league, baseball and softball programs. This year will mark Bruce's 18th year coaching the Lady Raiders at Stowe high school and his 12th year co-commissioning the co-ed adult league on Mayo Farm. As an avid player himself, Bruce has anchored Paintboy Painting as pitcher and first baseman since the league began in 1999. Outside ball, Bruce has extensive experience in masonary and landscaping and enjoys hunting whitetail and shooting bow recreationally.
Mike is a current resident of Morrisville but has deep roots in Stowe. Growing up here, he attended Stowe High Hchool and has been working with the Town since 1987- almost 25 years. At home, Mike runs a backyard maple syrup operation with his two sons Parker and Tyler. Together, they've tapped 50-75 trees and have been making the sweet stuff since 1989. Once spring is over and the sugaring is done, Mike looks forward to his annual hunting trip to Colorado and ice fishing during the winter months.
Steve is a native of Stowe and has been a member of the fire department for over 20 years. As a life-long mechanic, he attended school in New Hampshire and worked in property management before joining us in 2004. If you are a fan of the Stowe Theatre Guild, you may recognize Steve from his appearance as the infamous and hilarious "Charles Dabernow Schmendiman" in the 2011 production Picasso. Outside his celebrity status with STG, Steve is also trying out a new role as "grandpa" with newborn grand-babies from each of his two children.

Tony came to us from Hinesburg in 2007 following his career in landscaping and his service in the United States Navy. Currently, he lives in Stowe with his twin sons. Tony has been actively involved with Stowe Youth Hockey for years serving once as president and presently as a member of the board of directors. Although he spends countless hours at the rink and has been a serious hockey dad for over 7 years, Tony just recently began playing himself with the beginner group at Jackson on Monday nights. His boys, Cole and Dylan have been on skates since age 6 and currently play for Stowe Youth Hockey.
